Diclofenac Sodium injection

Pharmacological action

Diclofenac Sodium is a kind of non-steroids pain killer derived from   phenylacetic acids,of which the mechanism is to restrain the  activity of epoxidase, thus to block the transformation of arachidonic acid to prostaglandin. Meanwhile it can also promote the combination ofarachidonic acid and triglyceride, lower the concentration of arachidonic acid in the cells and indirectly inhibit the synthesis of leukotrienes. After injection in the muscle, the plasma protein binding rate is 99.5%. About 50% of the drug is metabolized by liver, 40%~65% drained from kidney, 35% from gall, excrement.

Indications

Antipyretic drug, pain killer and antiphlogistic .Used for continued fever and fever recurrence and diseases like arthralgia, courbature, rheumatalgia etc. caused by bacteria, viruses.

Administration and dosage Intramuscular injection.  2.5-3.0mg/kg, Use once a day and continue for 2 or 3 days.

Precautions Pregnant animal should take it with care.

Withdrawal time28 days before killing, 7 days before milking.
