DESCRIPTION
For veterinary use only.
Ceftiofur hcl, a broad-spectrum cephalosporin, is activeagainst gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens of veterinary importance. Twostudies were designed to compare the intramuscular bioavailability of thecurrent sodium salt and the new hydrochloride salt in pigs at doses of either 3mg or 5 mg ceftiofur equivalents (CE)/kg body weight.
INDICATIONS: This productis a kind of antimicrobial agent and is mainly used in the treatments ofinfections in domestic fowls and animals caused by sensitive bacteria.
DOSAGE/ADMINISTRATION
Intramuscularadministration:
- Metritis: 2 ml/100 lbs. body weight for 5 days
- Pneumonia: 1-2 ml/100 lbs. body weight for 3-5 days
- Foot rot: 1-2 ml/100 lbs. body weight for 3-5 days
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: no day
STORAGE: Tightly sealedand store in a cold place, avoid lights.
SHELF LIFE: 1.5 years
PRECAUTION: Keep out of reach of children.
