Diminazene Diaceturate and Phenazone 23.6g

Description:

Diminazene aceturate belongs to the group ofaromatic diamidines whichis active against babesia, piroplasmosis andtrypanosomiasis.

Indications:

Prophylactics andtreatment of babesia, piroplasmosis andtrypanosomiasis in camel,cattle, cats, dogs, goats, horse, sheep and swine.

Contra-indications:

Hypersensitivity to diminazene or phenazone.

Administration to animals with an impaired renal and hepatic function.

Side effects:

Hypersensitivity reactions.

Salivation, sweating, tremors can occur.

Multipletherapeutic doses can produce severe nervous signs andprominenthaemorrhagic and malacic lesions of the cerebellum, midbrain,andthalamus in dogs.

After multiple therapeutic doses degenerative fatty changes can occurin liver, kidneys, myocardium and muscles.

Multiple therapeutic doses can produce prominent haemorrhagic andmalacic lesions of the cerebellum and the thalamus in cattle.
